So do many of you still buy newspapers or do you go online for your news?

I never buy newspapers, Google News and Politics.ie is as good as it gets.

Well Google News would link you on to many newspapers and magazines to which I go to. And yes I do look at politicalreform.ie
Few nice ones there to look at when I've time.

I never buy newspapers, Google News and Politics.ie is as good as it gets. I think I would not be the only one around here and the newspapers know it. Hense the attacks on this website in particular by Drennan and Co. They hate the fact that people can deliver news faster than them and that more opinions are aired publicly.

Is it the end of the road for newspapers in the physical sense? Is the future lay with the internet subscriptions and what will this mean to the general public?

How do you like your news?
Online: P.ie, Google Current, BBC. I wouldn't give any of the Irish papers a cent. I'd buy the Guardian for world news on a Saturday.

Not often. I found a yellow Sunday times under my couch a while ago, I guess that was the last one I actually paid for.

I rarely buy newspapers, but I always buy one when I'm travelling... and because the Indo does the tabloid size I usually buy that...

It's great to read all the doom and gloom as I soar skywards contemplating a chilled beer and a ham and cheese panini...

Yep - reading an Irish newspaper on a plane only makes me even happier to be leaving this miserable kip...

And on the way back I avoid Irish newspapers like the plague...

Even seeing the IT or Indo in a foreign airport makes my heart sink a bit, particularly when there's some 'establishment' a'hole's mug on the front page or the words 'NAMA', 'troika', 'EU', 'ECB', 'Anglo', 'tribunal' or 'bank' feature in any headline...
