Joe Duffy promoting non-payment of household charges

    On Joe Duffy now:

He's currently giving hugely sympathetic coverage for an ex-prison officer who voted FG and then Labour last time and will never do it again.

She's not paying the household charge.

This is public service broadcasting at its most balanced and objective.

She's just said she'll vote Sinn Féin. And Joe, audibly disappointed, asks her: "What about Fianna Fáil?"

I wonder will he be disappointed in his public again, the arrogant, undisciplined, unprofessional, unentertaining, overpaid whine merchant that he is.

Varadkar - "I expected better from a prison officer"

Just on the whineline now a women recieved an email from Leo Varadkar in relation to her objection to the household charge.

In the email Varadkar stated the he "expected better from a prison officer" and "its a crime not to pay" and that if she didnt pay
then she shouldnt "use her toilet or the roads".

She worked for 20 years as a prison officer and is now retired due to ill health.

She is insensed with the reply she recieved from Leo.

The smugness of Fine Gael is growing by the day.

You'd never get near the airwaves. He puts on what suits him.

Remind me how much ''Joe the man of the people'' earns? Is it over 200K per annum?
