The Minister for the Necessary Mayhem, I can assure you, would not actually need six months. It would just take that length of time for the citizens to realise I wasn't targeting them. Nor would I expect a lifelong pension- just the sense of satisfaction from a job well done. Besides, I'd be on free beer anywhere in the country by that point.
