    @Didimus l fail to see what her husband's business has to do with the gutterpress, if your wife/sis/daughter suffered such a vile episode , would you not also discuss it , indeed use the tools at your disposal (such as P.ie) to highlight inequitable treatment ?     Dot - I did make a comment on the issue, and prefaced my remark on the husbands piece by indicating it was off topic.

    I detest the Mail and the journalism it represents. The piece manipulated her words in a cynical way, and was in my view dishonest.

    What would I say to my wife/sis/daughter (son, nephew etc)? That much of the media is cynical and cheap, and to remember that whatever is put into the public domain no matter in what mode - letters to the paper, web2.0, or 23.5, is potentially going to be made use of by unscrupulous people.

    @ Didimus oh absolutely ! They were quite shell-shocked l think. Mrs Schregardus said last week that her work colleagues understood but imo thats an appalling way to have to begin a week's work. Sunday Business Post | Irish Business News
