    Good news

Some great news this week. Going by Eamon's beaming 100 watt smile today (not an energy saver in sight boys), is it safe to say we are in for a week of perky, Americanised optimism in the media?
    Yes we can!
I'm actually surprised that the pro-Lisbon war horses haven't adopted that particular slogan. It worked before.
I predict that before the week is out that
    1. Mary Coughlan will be ousted/resign
    2. Roddy Molloy will hand over his bonus to the St. Vincent de Paul
    3. Joan Bruton and Eamon O Cuiv will get it on
    4. As will Harney and Enda
    5. In fact the Dail session will be become a love-in
    6. Coughlan will kiss and make up with Lenihan. Actually kiss.
    7. Joe Higgins will be taken seriously. At last.
    8. I probably won't. Ever again.
    9. IBEC will spontaneously combust.
    10. Waterford Crystal will re-open, as will Dell, and countless other factories will increase their workforce.

    Yes we can!
