One of the most controversial arguments in the campaign leaflets which will be sent to Irish homes in the next few weeks is a claim that the Lisbon Treaty will open the door to immigration.

“I suspect no one else would touch this issue with a barge pole."

You got that right, Mr Farage.

In other circumstances I would agree. However in the case of Lisbon ( which also affects disenfranchised UK citizens) there is a massive imbalance in funding. As far as I am concerned UKIP are welcome. Irish voters need to hear how Lisbon will clear the way for
extensive EU enlargement including the accession of Turkey, an event that would take place against the frequently expressed wishes of the people of Europe.

If FF are the millstone around the "Yes" campaign, these jokers are hardly likely to convince waverers to vote "No".

    Call Martin Manseragh immediately.

He is an intelligence wizard and will know exactly how to handle this developing emergency.[ His dad Nicholas ,worked for Britains Ministry for Information during WW2 in the Anglo Irish section. Naturally this section would have collaborated closely with Britains propagandist and secret service sections]

Martin himself has an Oxford University doctorate and many of his former student colleagues are now doing sterling work for Britains secret service intelligence community.

Indeed Fianna Fail have a fine history of working closely with british intelligence officers such as the late Robert Erskine Childers.

This is a huge problem for Ireland and can only be sorted out by Martin and his friends in the British intelligence community

This will have to be handled very carefully. UKIP cannot be or be seen to be the driving force here. F&D are merely availing of the same loopholes the yes side are.

I have already told you: wizard Martin Manseragh and his friends in the british intelligence community will soon sort out Nigel and his UKIP.

Although the electorate of Tipperary South Riding who voted for Martin might have mixed feelings should he indulge in covert or black ops against poor old Nigel.

I agree. But it would be amusing to find a Brit at the door warning us about unwelcome foreigners. It could lead to some interesting exchanges.

I welcome anyone here who wishes to debate Lisbon. At least UKIP has MEPs - as distinct from the Libertas mirage!

As for possible misrepresentations by UKIP as to what is in the Lisbon Treaty they can't tell any more lies than Coir has already, leaving to one side the sickening mendacity of the argument that a no vote would somehow make Ireland more european from people like Coughlan who has consistently campaigned against membership since 1972.
