    Hi,

am I to assume from your comment you welcome Irish law being subserviant to EU diktat?

In that about 80% of ALL law enacted by the Oireaches is nothing more than the rubber stamping of undemocratic diktat imposed by the central authorities in Brusells and the balance is by treaty AND statute obliged to be compliant with EU diktat perhaps you would advise how you see the future liberty of Ireland and have you a better use for Limmerick House than as The Museum of Irish Democracy.

Perhaps the troughs could be laid out in rows to save the need for those who are willing to betray Ireland having to even board the EU Gravy Train!

No wonder the self styled and completely redundant politicians are outspoken in their support of a new Lisbon Constitution for Ireland whilst tax payer funded bureaucrats process the diktat of the EU and espouse yes for their venal gain.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.

I don't know which is more pathetic, your ignorance of the topic or your inability to communicate except through using childish simplistic clichés.
"Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.

Check out the case of , N. V. Algemene Transport- en Expeditie Onderneming van Gend & Loos/Nederlandse administratie der belastingen (Netherlands Inland Revenue Administration), Case 26/62, in Reports of Cases before the Court. 1963, S. 1.

Ill break it down for you. It is stated that national sovreignty is naturally fettered, to ensure that nations can partake in the benefits of the Union. This case was taken prior to Irish entry, so clearly there is a tacit consent on the part of the Irish people to fetter sovreignty. Thus, I wont second guess them, and unlike Mr Hickey in Coir, I do not wish to see Ireland withdrawn from the Union. If anything, the Lisbon Treaty doesnt go far enough.

How many identities does fitzpatrick/bateman have by now? And how does he find the time?! Must be at least half a dozen.
