Ok, we're back to the "Lisbon makes for a 2/3 of 27 Commission". (so much for the guarantees)
So it's preferable (for those who put much meas on the Commission numbers) to run Lisbon than carry on under Nice where the number must be less than 27, or the number of States in the EU. 26 is less than 27.

All that demonstrates is that due to the provisions contained in Lisbon, that decision CAN be changed - IF Lisbon is passed. If Lisbon is not passed, it is legally impossible to have a Commission with all the member states represented on it.

To be honest, I can't remember them saying that we would keep a commissioner. Maybe they did. But I think we should vote on Lisbon according to its merits and not by adding up how many lies we think were told on either side.
