    The IT & Supporters "Yes to Lisbon" early days hysteria Campaign continues

    Higgins criticised over anti-Lisbon allies - The Irish Times - Thu, Jul 16, 2009

    Some lovely gems in this Article tbh;

    “It will be something to see Mr Nigel Farage dressed in a Union Jack and leprechaun hat, arm in arm with Gerry Adams, the former leader of the IRA, and Joe Higgins, my colleague up here in the back, calling for a No vote on the Lisbon Treaty,” Mr de Rossa said.

    ... idiot .... scoring small points .... yet still in there there's a sniff of the No folk are the deluded, extreme kinda folk and don't associate with them

    that's where the yes gang didn't get it last time ... and that's where they're NOT getting it again .... knock knock... ahem... hello?????? .... us No to Lisbon folk are across ALL the Spectrum and we are most certainly NOT all batsh.it loonball jobs

    “I’m confident the Irish people will tell this particular circus what they told Libertas: ‘Get lost’.” Yeah ... right derossa.com ... rush of blood to the head there I think ... your party leader on 13/6/08 on RTE Six One News had a very different story re the Lisbon Treaty ....

    pfffff.....

    And let's file on to FG ..... courtesy of the "IT"

    Ms McGuinness said the extremes of the right and the left were proposing a No vote. “I think that should be reason enough for the rest of us to vote Yes to the Lisbon Treaty.” She urged voters to reflect on what those who were urging them to vote No stood for.

    There we go ..... a FG MEP advocating a Yes Vote SIMPLY for the reason that "the extremes of the right and the left were proposing a No vote" .... bollixology.... I sure as hell ain't far left or far right either

    Oh yeah.... better stick in FF... Can I cope Gallagher apparently in his wisdom emitted that the ratification of the treaty would help the Irish economy to recover .... but that would tally with the current Governmental strategy for Lisbon -> vote yes for our Economy/save/create jobs (12 yrs on from when we 1st came into power btw)

    Sigh...................................

    So how does Mr De Rossa the so called representative of the workers feel about lining up side by side with IBEC and the (ex) PDs in supporting the treaty? De Rossa is a sell out and a traitor of the working class. The entire Labour Party are nothing but servants of the bourgois. In fact the Labour Party are far worse than FF or FG in the sense that they con working class people into thinking they represent them. At least FF and FG are somewhat honest about their pro-rich stance. Connolly must be turning in his grave when he sees the so called working class party in collaboration with the big business agenda.

    I suppose that is why he sometimes in private sounds different!
    "Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.
