Wow.. the Department of Foreign Affairs is really taking this Lisbon Treaty lark seriously this time.. I see it's published a new "information" site about the EU...

    NIC - Nielsen International Communication

Lots of people from different spheres of Irish life, telling people why the EU matters...

This is a welcome development.. what took them until now to come up with it?

    This is the right link:

Eumatters | Home - Information about Ireland's membership of the EU

The Website brought to the people by the same gang who sent out the Lisbon Postcards .... where would we be without them

    The operative word being "information".

I noticed on Oireachtas Report last night that Michael Martin is trying to turn Lisbon II into a question of "are you happy with all the EU has done thus far" as opposed to "do you want to modify our Constitution and incorporate this EU Constitution into law".

No doubt this will be the modus operandi of the wider pro-Lisbon lobby.

Marxists, Feminists and Leftists operate on the basis of "liberating tolerance" - i.e. their ideas should be tolerated, and any opposition should be suppressed.
