TEFL - Tax Exiles For Lisbon

I am thinking of rounding up a few buddies to start a new group to campaign for a Yes to Lisbon. Tax exiles are usually smart, and know their way round Europe.

Someone tells me the artist formerly known as The Hedge, and that Keane footballer lad who is not Roy might be interested. Anyone have their mobiles? OK I know that the soccer player is not really a tax exile - he would never make £50K a week at Bohs.

I am willing to allow residents of the part of this island that will not actually have a voice in any of this to join in, even if they are not tax exiles. Especially if they are good with words. They might be able to turn the Treaty thing into English.

Sir Anthony and Dr Michael Smurfit could be patrons.

    All other nominations welcome.

Be warned though, some of the yes side seemed to think it was OK to insinuate that some people were tax exiles when in fact that are not. They may have gotten wind of your plan and wanted in.

    Astroturf, not.

Sounds like a whole load of Euroturf™ to me.

whahah keep dreaming, I will be pming you after lisbon 2.
Still, even as the investor consensus ravages the euro, it's worth remembering that the same herd instinct not long ago was pronouncing last rites for the dollar. Last year, as China's central bank chief called for a new global currency and Russian central bankers dumped greenbacks to buy euros, many saw the dollar's decline as inevitable. Now, the dollar is riding high, and the euro looks bedraggled.
