If you plan to vote and you still don't know, what credible excuse could you possibly have? Find out, ffs, and vote based on knowledge, not ignorance, whichever way you vote. If you don't give enough of a toss to have found out by now, don't vote.

You are here-by condoning the mis-use of democracy in this country. How can someone's view be represented by a vote based on ignorance? And if that is widespread how could we claim democracy is enforcing the will of the people if so many aren't even sure about the effects of their vote?

I voted no and I damn well meant it. Why is it the government doesn't seem to understand what it means.
The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.

I will be voting no the same as last time. I am not in favour of closer european integration. I do not think the world needs another superstate.

It carried out extensive research to understand why people vote No, then spent months negotiating with our EU partners to get legal guarantees on the matters raised in the research.

You are now voting on the package of the treaty along with the new legally binding guarantees.

How dare you set the standard of education for me to vote, you have some cheek to tell me that I voted no due to my ignorance. You have just proved why the people who voted no
the last time must do so again This is the elite thinking that must be stopped, It is bad enough having our vote ignored, next can we expect not to be allowed to vote because of our ignorance especially if we will not vote the way our betters tell us to vote.

Well said. But as a NO campaigner last year I can't escape the feeling that this one is lost,
although unlike certain others of this parish, as it were, I am not about to change my view on that treaty. What can we do to get those NO votes out again ?

Exactly where was it I said anything about why you voted? You said that if people didn't know they should vote No. Rather than try and encourage education, or even educate anyone yourself, you are trying to use people's ignorance to your own ends. That is incredibly anti-democratic.

And then you start sh!ting on about "elites" and our vote being ignored (even though the Treaty wasn't ratified and the EU addressed the reasons we voted No that they could). Both of which are crap. And you want to use those as reasons for other to vote No.

You are a dsgusting example of the anti-democratic No voter using peoples ignorance, twisting the truth and using BS buzz words in an attempt to get your way.
