Reasons to vote YES

1. Keep germans onside for inevitable bailout of economy

2. Legal guarantees seem to cover all fears

3. Keep Ireland at the heart of europe. No idea what that means but so many people are saying it.

4. Give Cowen some good news. I know the guy has destroyed the economy but even he deserves a bit of a break.

5. Increase chances with Lucinda Creighton. You just never know !

Reasons to vote NO

1. Wipe the smirk off Dick Roches face.

Looks like its a NO

Nice poster.. if totally vacuous... couldn't you have found at least one good looking guy and chased after the homosexual vote as well ?

What is it with people trying to equate politics and sex ????

This is reminiscent of the YFG campaign during the first Lisbon referendum

And who are the Liberals in Ireland.. is this a new party ? The home page is asking me to join, but not telling me what I am joining.. whats the deal with that

Ps.. I'm considering voting Yes in the upcoming referendum.. can I be the Liberals spokesperson in Tipperary ?

Look it's simple.

I'm voting yes. Most of my enemies are voting no. You've all seen my enemies. You know the kind of pondlife I'm talking about. Use your brain here. I mean there isn't going to be Yes campaigners dressed in khakis with balaclavas handing out leaflets about abortion standing outside the GPO now is there? Can you say the same about the other team.

All I'm saying is try and use your brain here and think about where our interests lie

Yes.

Essentially the Treaty of Lisbon is about relatively small but important changes to the way the EU operates.

All this talk about abortion, taxation, an EU superstate and all the rest of the rubbish talked about Lisbon and the EU is as ridiculous now as it was during previous debates.

Well said, I voted Yes the last time as well.
It kills me to even be on the same side of the street as Cowen and Fianna Fáil.

I'm voting NO.

Then I'm selling my house for a snip, all my belongings, buying a small island (with wireless broadband signal) somewhere off the coast and will live on wind & solar power, fish, potatoes, seaweed, homemade poitín and the milk of a few goats. If I haven't posted here by end of November come check on me will ye? Oh, and bring a carton of Silk Cut Blue and a few box of matches too please? Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

I wonder would Tesco deliver to an island by boat?
We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

Well I never wore khaki. But since the electorate are not evidently going to choose Libertas to negotiate this countries relations in Europe your remaining options are the shinners/youth defense axis or those that make up the yes campaign
