Michael O'Leary to lead a pro-Lisbon treaty campaign: Bloomberg

Bloomberg are carrying comments from a press briefing that Michael O'Leary is going to lead a pro-Lisbon Treaty campaign in the referendum. O'Leary made his comments as he was announcing cutbacks to Ryanairs winter schedule at Dublin and Shannon with the further withdrawal of one aircraft from each base and more than 80 flights from last years winter schedule leading to the loss of hundreds of jobs at Dublin and Shannon airports.

It just gets better and better for the No campaign!!

Expect a €40 voting insurance charge and a €35 Ballot-paper-insertion levy to follow shortly. Voting pens will cost €5 and you'll have to print your own ballot paper at home.

The Irish Times carry his comments on the Dublin and Shannon ariport cuts but curiously not his statement re the Lisbon referendum. Curious.

Everyone who has any gripe with Ryanair have a reason now to go out and vote No. I can just imagine the posters and billboards he will have. And you just know that he will offend just about everyone at some stage of the campaign!

    No he won't.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Any truth in the rumour that John McGuirk is his Communications Director?
