    How can one individual change your views, or opinions on a treaty affecting an entity with nearly 500 million people and 27 nations?

    Not necessarily ... with twits like Emperor Sarkozy again sticking their nose where it isn't wanted, such antics do nothing to help the Yes cause.

    Personally I hope the twat does come over to Ireland again (with or without his footstool) .... bound to rub off negatively on the Yes cause

    What's Ganley got to do with it?

    It's either a good treaty or it isn't.

    Let the fight go on.

    Hear hear .... I was anti Lisbon last time and in no way supportive of/aligned to/interested in Libertas ... and I'm still anti Lisbon ... Libertas being there or not makes no difference to me ... made no difference either the last time I voted No

    Libertas did make a difference to me simply because I wished to campaign against that Constitution, the auspices of Libertas offering a congenial platform.

    There was plenty more besides Ganley and Libertas last time round;

    1. Cowen confirmed he hadn't read the entire Treaty himself and yet ppl were being asked to vote in favour of it

    2. Our EU Commissioner McCreevy said he hadn't read the entire treaty himself and that he didn't expect "any sane and sensible person" to read it from cover to cover. He also said that for him to say he had read the treaty would have been akin to him saying that he had read a medical textbook that morning, which he would have read, but not understood.

    FFS what a joke.

    And YET here now we still have the SAME Treaty with Guarantees/Declarations being promised.

    IF it's impossible to understand the Treaty how the fook can one then try to correlate the Guarantees against it and figure out if it all adds up. Sorry but I'd much prefer to read/figure it out for myself rather than take the word of the Politicos on it .... but it seems not even this is possible with the mess that is the Lisbon Treaty
