All elected members deserve respect, Mr Adams and McGuinness are there to implement the wishes of the people who put them there.the very fact their party is enlarged at each election proves they are doing a good job,If people are not satisified they can always stand against them and unseat them, The wishes of the electorate must be respected.

They lost seats at the last election. Mary-Lou is no longer an MEP. In face, she no longer has any mandate from anyone other than Gerry Adams. Meanwhile, the party's TDs down south are all shunted to one side because, to a man, they're all awkward duffers as likely as not to defend the IRA during television or radio interviews.

I have no doubt that Joe Higgins is the man to lead the no campaign to success, he was the one man that could provide an opposition to Bertie, however he will back after the next election.

If he didn't want to be an MEP, why run for election? Props to Gay Mitchell and Prionsias De Rossa, among others, for actually making it their career. Unlike the chancer from SF.
