Are there no opinion polls on this issue? Last one (published on wikipedia) is from late in may, showing the Yes side in quite a huge lead. Any hope for the No side? Are there really no new polls since then? Less than two months left now.

Campaigning and the Referendum Commission's leafleting has yet to begin. I don't know what use a poll this early would be.

There is at least 7 or 8 front bench members who would be very interested in a ministerial pension, What a lovely way to retire,

They'll be in with FG at the next election. They could probably get in as a minority government at the worst.

Not with the examples of the PDs and Greens. It'd be the end of the Labour Party.

Do you seriously think any political party cares about the next generation, My pension is what counts when you reach a certain age.

Of course they care about growing the party from one generation to the next. Why do you think they all have youth wings?

There is a difference between deciding to have a youth wing and deciding to forgo a pension for the good of a party. It isn't really if a person cares about their party's future, it is a question of how much they care.

TBH, we should probably get back on topic.
