Memoirs of a Ganley rapporteur, albeit confidential: Times

This is just one brilliant article. It starts off great and just gets better. How the hell did this get past Madam?

Health warning: Yes people may wish to sit down and have their meds first before reading.

It starts off with "I RECKON I am the only Irish Times columnist that has worked for Declan Ganley. It is probably a safe enough bet that I will hold that distinction for some time to come". Ain't that the truth!

The article goes to Town with government Ministers who faited Ganley's forum with flowery addresses lauding Deckko and having no problem whatsoever with the work of Rivada Networks at the time. Deckko should be putting these facts into the public domain when Dick Roche brings up Rivada etc in head to head debates.

You beat me to it Kerry north.

However already knowing about the ministers that appeared at the forum that was not the surprise. the surprise is that the thing was secret.
Between 2005 and 2007, Ganley’s organisation, Rivada Networks, sponsored the Annual Forum on Public Safety in Europe and North America at my alma mater, the University of Limerick, where Ganley is a director on the University of Limerick Foundation Board. The forum brings together various “policymakers, political and military leaders” to discuss, among other things, “important public safety matters, such as crisis management, interoperability and border security”.

This is Libertas's sister organisation, that is "the fruit of the same tree" so to speak.
I have posted here before about the fact that the Forum on Public safety is concerned with military civil posers becoming closer together. No doubt a Libertas policy too , when they come.

    see http://www.forumonpublicsafety.com/

this logo says it all, ganley linking military/civilian power and Europe and North America.

You realise it doesn't put Libertas in a good light either? At all really. And anyways, why would you be interested in an IT article, its would be nothing put propaganda for the Yes side from an apparently already disgraced newspaper..

PS: And yes, any articles that profess something you don't like on the issues surrounding Lisbon are the work of the Editor. Any articles that seem to support your view on issues surrounding Lisbon simply got "past Madam".
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.

    look at this

    headline
EU states made major concession - The Irish Times - Tue, Dec 16, 2008

The No campaign was first into the breach in this regard: without bothering to wait to see what had been agreed, it accused Brian Cowen's Government of being willing to accept guarantees supposedly "not worth the paper they are written on".

but were told they still havn't agreed thw wroding so what is he doing commentating on it?

Ireland's neutrality or our Constitution's provisions regarding the right to life, education and the family. hang a sec, education? you mean the gov is happy to continue a religious monopoly in place?

She might not be an Irish Times writer for long!

Seriously though, it is rather well written.

Mind you, if the politicians present are "two faced" for attending and lauding the organization then surely Ganley is tarred with the same brush. They were all his best friends then but now.....

(Was he playing golf in Wicklow yesterday morning, by the way. Perhaps with a rather unusual looking "club" in his bag?

Secret? There is nothing secret about them, not least because the findings of the forum are published, the list of attendees inlcuded, there exists a website with all the information of where it is on and what is to be discussed and also the Irish Times will publish it (I know what they had for lunch, Colm, pm me, we'll talk). The only thing one could say was remotely "secret" is that the discussion groups are held under the Chatham House Rule.

Honestly, People Korps, you are a weird little fantacist at the best of times and a bloody liar at the worst.

No, it's not. You've been told this before.

I have posted here before about the fact that the Forum on Public safety is concerned with military civil posers becoming closer together.
You have, have you? Well how did you discover that? Oh... by looking at the website...

The Forum on Public Safety in Europe and North America brings together political leaders, military officers, police and fire officials, policymakers, business people and scholars to discuss the policy, implementation and communications challenges, and related current topics regarding public safety.
Hercule Poirot has nothing on you, Dumbass.

No doubt a Libertas policy too , when they come.

You have a weird idea of that "SECRET" means if SECRET means published and/or discussed at a TRIBUNAL and PRINTED in NEWSPAPERS.

    You fruitcake!
    A poster of some consequence...

This goes to show that if libertas had not called for a no vote to the treaty, there would be no kerfuffle over them whatsoever.
