Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Will this be a serious analysis of the rise of a new political movement/leader or will it be a smearfest with just a sprinkling of vagueness to mean DG cant sue?
- A political movement that no-one has ever voted for.
- A political movement with no members (donors, volunteers, mailing list posters but no members).
- A political movement without members that nonetheless has a leader.
- A political movement whose leader no-one voted for (see 2 & 3).
DG has nothing to fear with such solid astroturf to support him...
Why are libertas getting any attention?...like..ANY at all?
Their main issue in the referendum was a threat to our corporate tax rate and it turned out nobody cared about that, so why the fascination?
seriously...WHY?
If it's as fair and unbiased as his One to One interview with Aine Lawlor then i suspect we know already what RTÉ have planned for this.
Well the no side collectively has a mandate of the 54% who voted no. Fat lot of good all those seats did the yes campaign. Haven't you heard that we are a direct-democracy and not just a representative one? The very fact that 95% of Dail Eireann is on the opposite side to 54% of the public undermines the credibility of elected politicians as representatives of the people, not least when they continue plotting to overturn the peoples' decision including exploring doing so without asking them have they changed their minds. And anyway, the political-class are discredited by years of corruption arising from the Tribunals, so maybe the fact that he was not one of them played well with the Irish people, tired of broken promises and lies from their elected politicians.
I cannot get over the media and political class belief that it was Ganley and Libertas that swung the referendum. I even read Noel Whelan saying this yesterday which shows what kind of an analyst he is. The fact is that it was the working class vote that defeated Lisbon and that had nothing to do with Ganley or Libertas. There was a massive, for referenda, turnout in working class areas that was overwhelmingly No. We do have tallies from Dublin West to prove this where middle class Castelknock voted 79-21 Yes but working class Blakestown/Mulhuddart voted 81-19 No.
