Well, Declan Ganley went on Vincent Browne before the referendum and told us that the Lisbon Treaty provided for the detention of three-year-olds and he still won the vote.

Caroline is usually sharp as a tack, and having seen her in action many times I think it's unfair to say that she doesn't know the basic stuff about Europe as she is normally incredibally knowledgable about all aspects of the EU (well as much as anybody can be).
As mistakes go, and that's what I believe these are, they are relatively minor ones.
Funny enough last June after being out canvassing from about 7am I was close to finishing up around 6pm is and I made the very same council/commission mistake myself!

Ganley won sweet FA the polls showed nobody cared about corporation tax which was the main issue Libertas campaigned on.

It's precisely the kind of guff that gets posted on P.ie on a routine basis. Could it be that core "No to Lisbon" is starting to believe it's own hype? This and some of the other typical anti-EU misrepresentations are going to look rather tired and emotional in the daylight of a full-on Lisbon 2 campaign.

....and there I was thinking it was "full-on" already, what with all those ominous references to "consequences" and to all those "controversial" views that just happen to reflect the opinions of the majority here. But since when did a majority view ever matter to the Euro-fanatics and sundry Euro-groupies ?
