Could the 'No' vote help Ireland's tourist season?

There seems to have been a huge outpouring of goodwill from the ordinary people of Europe towards Ireland, although the European elites have been quite vicious towards us. In Britain, in particular there has been huge admiration from ordinary people, with many rushing out, to buy some Guinness On many blogs, people have been saying they intend visiting Ireland on their holidays, particularly members of the BNP I think this whole 'No' vote could be quite positive for Irish economy, particularly the tourism sector. It has been suffering very badly lately due to the increased value of the Euro. I just wonder should the Government and Bord Failte launch a huge marketing drive on the back of the 'No' vote, maybe a large number of adverts in the 'Daily Telegraph'

The No vote doesn't change the price, availability, weather or attractiveness of Irish tourist destinations at all.

Doubtful. The vast majority of Europeans are not even aware of the Lisbon treaty. The countries that are most aware are of course the ones that have had referenda, and Britain, cos they hate it.

That is true, but the feeling I'm getting from reading some the English blogs is that they would like to visit here, to personally thank us in some small way for what we have done. Nothing scintific about it, just my reading of it.

The 'No' vote won't help Ireland's tourist season but I read in the Waterford News and Star that it's gong to win the Déise the All Ireland.
