    Post referendum reactions

What the hell is wrong with everyone?

Reading the threads is like watching a bag of rats on a sinking boat, all scrambling and biting each other to pieces to escape.

SOME of the posters on the yes side are coming up with some weird sh1te, to which SOME on the no side responding.

I hear the same thing on radio from the yes proponents.

Even with the strength of the yes and no arguments pre-referendum, (and the silliness) at least it had a purpose. This just sounds like serious sour grapes from the yes side (or some of it). Like old Generals re-fighting old lost battles to see if they can change the past.

The forum used to be of interest, now it's like watching children squabble.

Grow up a bit, you are actually getting boring.

This stupid thread should be locked. There are enough post mortem threads already.

    I fully agree with them
If we can nt ratify this treaty one way or an other then I see no other choice

That's no-brainer. Since the treaty cannot be ratified by Ireland (and therefore cannot be implemented) then the governments of the EU have to devise another treaty that will be acceptable to all the EU member states. Or they could just let things work away as they are at the moment. I've just been outside and the sky hasn't fallen yet so rejecting Lisbon was not the disaster it was supposed to be.

Utter rubbish. For a start Ireland's national interests come first, last and always. Secondly the rejection of Lisbon is not a rejection of the EU.

The EU needs to re engage with it's people rather than try to force something they don't want,it's needs to spell out clearly where it wants to go.

Do you expect any better from the likes of forest? After all the Lisbon Treaty and the Federal United States of Europe it will create is his wet dream, and that of every other European Federalist out there.
