Well seeing as how the 3 main Irish political parties were completley out of tune with the Irish public it's reasonable that the political leaders of FRance and Germany and other EU states are also out of tune with their people too so maybe there should be an EU vote to ask if the public in all EU states agree with how Ireland voted - a simply question like that should reveal exactly how people feel and the beauty is that it's not binding so the leaders can ignore it when it doesn't go the way they want.

Can we throw this and the likes of the treason bed in the bin please? They're distracting us from serious discussion.

"the usual anti-EU suspects are still anti-EU"....well ************************ me (smacks face) I'm so shocked.

Can I start a thread saying the sky is blue?

I'm sure the BNP also support the NO vote, but who gives a sh*t what they think? Are you seriously trying to compare Irish NO voters with Neo-Nazis? A majority of the Irish electorate voted NO for a number of reasons, but I doubt any of them had in the back of their minds they'd be aligned with the likes of the German Neo-Nazis or the BNP.

    Waste of a topic.

You neglected to list all the other groups who welcomed a NO vote.

Why are you concentrating on the views of a Neo Nazi party to the exclusion of the above given the emotive use of Nazism in European history.???

it reads like you are trying to associate No voters in Ireland with Neo Nazis....whether you deny it or not.

You lost .....get used to it.

Indeed thats what forced me to READ the sections of the document that refered to issues that were causing me to vote no, if I was gonna be on the same side, even distantly and for diffrent reasons, as these peole I wanted to be damm sure I was right.

Im sure Le Pen and some other nutters will dance and gibber too. Wit hfriends like this, good luck to the no-istaas persuading the rest of Europe were really lovely people. They see us as what we seem to have become - intolerant, ungrateful, isolationist, and ignorant.
