Im sure Le Pen and some other nutters will dance and gibber too. Wit hfriends like this, good luck to the no-istaas persuading the rest of Europe were really lovely people. They see us as what we seem to have become - intolerant, ungrateful, isolationist, and ignorant.
Ah diddums. Still throwing a temper, are we?
Nope, having a coffee. I was mildly irritated when I saw the results, but as it will eventually go through, its ok. My temper comes out when people lie "if you vote yes the few kids you have left after abortion will be microchipped and conscripted into a euro army paid for by a 100% corporate tax rate". That sorta stuff, you know?
Oh yeah, I don't like those lies. And I didn't like the lies about voting no resulting in chaos in Europe.
Em, Europe is now in chaos.

No it's not. The EU is as able to function today, as it could last week. The Eurocrats are pissed off because their plans have been disrupted, but after a while things will calm down and no doubt it will be business as usual.

Goosebump.. threads like these are making you look more and more like an eejit..

So what if German neo-nazis wanted a No vote.... Though that surprises me.. Their hero tried to do what the Yes side wanted 60 odd years ago

So, little old Ireland has just thrown the mighty European juggernaught into chaos? What does that say about the stability of the EU? What happens when other crises develop?

The way the EU officials are dealing with this result, is by pouring petrol onto the fire. Their hissy fits and scathing threats about the "consequences" for Ireland displays an extreme level of immaturity. They are merely confirming the long-held belief that these unelected cretins were never fit to rule in the first place.

It highlights that the fact that political parties, like yours and the UKIP, who are opposed to the EU, share an interest in re-building the rotten hulk of political nationalism.

Are you really doing the Yes side any favours, with comments like that?

And perhaps also points out that PEOPLE... REMEMBER THOSE.. THE "DEMOS" PART OF DEMOCRATS... feel the same way, and do not want to be a part of a European federalist superstructure...

Or is that gone completely over your head ?

But I like reading your contributions. They remind me that voting No was the right thing to do.

are you saying that 54% of the Irish electorate who vote NO are ne Nazis???

No. I'm saying that a German Neo-Nazi Party has welcomed the Irish vote.

    Are you braindead?
Can we throw this and the likes of the treason bed in the bin please? They're distracting us from serious discussion.

"the usual anti-EU suspects are still anti-EU"....well ********* ********* me (smacks face) I'm so shocked.

Can I start a thread saying the sky is blue?
Its raining in Donegal - still dosen't take the shine of the highest no vote in the country. Hooray for Ireland.
