are you saying that 54% of the Irish electorate who vote NO are ne Nazis???

No. I'm saying that a German Neo-Nazi Party has welcomed the Irish vote.

    Are you braindead?

You neglected to list all the other groups who welcomed a NO vote.
    Such as?

I wondered how long it would take to see a reductio ad Hitlerum or similar lurid fallacy. Irrelevant nonsense. If Neo-Nazis happened to support free universal healthcare for children, would that make it a bad thing?

Im sure Le Pen and some other nutters will dance and gibber too. Wit hfriends like this, good luck to the no-istaas persuading the rest of Europe were really lovely people. They see us as what we seem to have become - intolerant, ungrateful, isolationist, and ignorant.
Ah diddums. Still throwing a temper, are we?

Well the German far-left party "Left" has also praised the outcome and they are hardly on the same side as the National Democratic Party. Politics makes for strange bedfellows, who oppose things for different reasons. The yes side tried to get us to vote no because of who happened to be on each side, but the people realised that was irrelevant, when set against what really mattered i.e. what did the treaty contained. Don't forget the yes side was also an alliance of strange bedfellows, like the PDs and Labour.

Nope, having a coffee. I was mildly irritated when I saw the results, but as it will eventually go through, its ok. My temper comes out when people lie "if you vote yes the few kids you have left after abortion will be microchipped and conscripted into a euro army paid for by a 100% corporate tax rate". That sorta stuff, you know?

The Nazis tried to destroy democracy and dominate Europe through naked power grabs and outright fascism.

The Yes camp was asking us to vote for 21st century fascism light. If anything, they have closer links to that bogus ideology of pan-European domination.

Oh yeah, I don't like those lies. And I didn't like the lies about voting no resulting in chaos in Europe. And I especially don't like the lie about No voters being isolationist, ungrateful xenophobes.

There's lies on every side. We need to get away from the crowing/blame game.

    So what ?
Freedom in capitalist society always remains about the same as it was in ancient Greek republics: Freedom for slave owners. For a Real Alternative :
