    Latest Poll No Leads 3-1

Lisbon Treaty being defeated by almost Three-to-One

    No 72 per cent

    Yes 23 per cent

    Dunno 5 per cent.

    Just found this on http://machinenation.forumakers.com/the ... .htm#19750

Its only a TV a.m. poll to be put on their website this afternoon - but is strangely close to the quick polls we took this morning ringing around 4 large offices.

I'm voting No but I think the outcome will be in favour of the Yes side.
Voters don't decide issues, they decide who will decide issues.

The Radio Kerry 'Kerry Today' programme are running a poll at the moment. I will have the result in a few minutes.

That sounds like a fairly ludicrous poll. The real result is going to be very tight, and I would still make the Yeses slight favourite. But, when you think about how everyone is saying that they don't know many people voting Yes, and the strong campaign the No's have been having, it's sort of surprising that they aren't further ahead

Its not too late. 9/4 is still great odds.
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

Sorry to burst your collective bubbles people but these polls are about as useful and reliable in determining the outcome of the referendum, as Irish Psychics Live.

The very best that can be said about them is that they get a bit if discussion going, but I'm not even sure about that. Certainly "ringing around four big offices" has no basis whatsoever in the science of statistics.

You could have taken the words out of my mouth, and I said the same on Machine Nation. But it is still very difficult to find anyone who says they are going to vote Yes, outside the Party activists.
