    RTE agenda re Declan Ganley

I have no particular thoughts one way or another with regard to the director of Libertas, Declan Ganley but I would have some questions about RTE's bias or motivation with the following piece of editorial from their website today "In a publicity stunt, Libertas chairman and US military contractor Declan Ganley ..."

What I'm wondering is by emphasising his "day job" as somehow suggesting links with the US military (I read in yesterdays papers that Ganleys company secured a communications contract with the NYPD - but that hardly constitutes links with the US military!) supposed to imply that this has implications for his chairmanship of Libertas.

Also if this is the case are we likely to see RTE's editorial policy for the rest of the week make reference Brian Cowens Legal Background, Enda Kennys National School teaching experience, Eamon Gilmore's USI presidency and Gerry Adams alleged membership of the IRA army council as somehow having implications for their slant or stance on the Lisbon treaty?

Its relevant because there are good grounds for believing that the US military want to see the Lisbon Treaty scuppered. John Bolton said as much yesterday. The fact that Brian Cowen is also a lawyer and Enda Kenny is also a teacher is irrelevant, since neither lawyers nor teachers have a vested interest in the outcome of the referendum.
