Libertas "Lisbon could cause a nuclear war"

I was innocently walking along O'Connell Street today, when I was accosted by a gentleman from Libertas. I know he was from Libertas because he was wearing their merchandise (I want some ), standing near their bus and their other canvassers, and giving out their leaflets.

He gave me a leaflet (I thought of rebutting some of the points for him, but was tired) and a letter. This letter proported to be from a Maltese Presidential candidate, and, among various accusations of the EU carrying out hits on certain MEP candidates , implied that joining Euratom (WHICH WE ARE ALREADY A MEMBER OF!!!!!!!!!!) could cause a nuclear war.

This is rediculous. Of all the No side, I still had some respect for Libertas (aside from one small incident of rudeness, they have consistantly been the most polite No canvassers), but to see them peddling this rubbish on the streets, and not even have their backbone to put their name and logo on it is sickening. Even if I was in Libertas, I would point-blank refuse to distribute such disingenuous material.

EDIT: It was O'Connell stree not Grafton street.

The EU nuclear states are continually reducing the number of warheads they have....

If you were with the English nationalist press you would probably print it on the front page.

Well it wasn't me and nobody I know was handing it out either. We were handing out Guides to the treaty, The readable (!) text of the Treaty and or course our own libertas leaflets, a few pens and hats. Nothing else.
