I thought Mary Harney was excellent on the News at one today. She comes across as a very sincere person who really believes in what she says. Joe Higgins who was also on only has a (red) hammer and views every issue as a (class war) nail. He has total tunnel vision.
BTW Mary Harney's difficulties in Health are contributed to in no small measure by Joe's cronies in the public sector unions.

I don't know what that's meant to refer to - but Harney is probably the best person the government could put out against Ganley. When the focus is off Health, Harney commands a great deal of respect among the electorate at large, who see her as a more principled politician than most. I'd disagree with her on many things, but she is at least sincere. And more importantly, as a debater she has a couple of great skills - she's always well in formed, and if she spots a weak point in her opponent she simply refuses to let it go. And given that the main weak point in Libertas' arguments against Lisbon is that they're virtually all untrue, she'd have a field day.Thank you Mary.
