Who Says There's No 'Lisbon' Plan B- There Is!

It appears that there is a plan B and its pretty much well worked out and ready to roll into action in January 2009 when the Czech Republic takes on the rolling EU Presidency....Perhaps someone should let Biffo in on the secret

But the Czechs are also setting out a plan "B" for the political future. Whether it is to persuade the Irish to vote again, to rip up Lisbon, redesign it or forget it I don't yet know.

Perhaps someone should let this blogger in on the secret too.

He's really got his finger on the pulse of Czech politics, hasn't he?

Wow. Blogger says there's a Plan B. Offers no actual evidence. Semper aliquid novum.

You'd be better off addressing the fact that the Czechs have prepared a plan B rather than cribbing about what form it is going to take, in fairness if you read the article its made clear that the main point is that there are a number of scenarios being prepared for....the author admits he (nor indeed anyone this side of the Almighty) can not possibly know which one will be opted for since we aint voted yet....The point is.... it irrefutably disproves Biffo's 'theres no plan B' claim...So you try and keep up you langer you...

All that this blogger has claimed is that if Lisbon isn't ratified then Czech government will do something.

He doesn't know what it'll be.

    There's nothing to address.

It doesn't prove anything beyond the fact that the Czech's have acknowledged the possibility of a 'no' vote. The political climate will be different depending on the outcome, so while the Czech's may have a plan B for their presidency, it says nothing about a plan C for Lisbon.

Plan C is either: Vote again! Or, negotiate minor changes in FF's favour and vote again!

Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.
