    CNN on Lisbon

Some comic relief amidst all the drama.

This is the way the whole world sees it. Democracy bypassed.
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

I love that graphic during the clip in really large font

I am surprised blood was not dripping from it!

Well, that's pretty outrageous of them. I was shocked.

I don't fully agree with the report, but I agree with some of it. I don't necessarily believe the treaty will make the EU an anti-American body. But it will hand more power to unelected officials, and it is probably true that a secret deal was made to give Blair or someone else jobs in the Eurocracy in return for accepting the Treaty.

And the unelected Commission, the unelected European Public Prosecutor, the unelected President of the European Council, the unelected European Court of Justice, the unelected "specialised courts" the treaty empowers the Council to establish, the unelected High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the unelected External Action Agency and European Defence Agency etc.
