It is an opinion poll. FG members were encouraged to vote.
This is similar to little FFers who were paid to phone the Joe Duffy show during Bertie Ahern's bribery problems showing support for Bert.
Also similar to having a slightly nuts journalist do your batting for you when the going gets tough so you can give him a Seanad seat, FF equivalent of knighthood.
