Well Ye are consistent - I'll give yis that.
And as with SF it is nice to know that Republican Fraternity have now finally recognised that the vast majority of the Irish people are happy in the EU - took yis all long enough.

This is precisely why Sinn Féin Poblachtach are against this political con job.

Please sinn fein should stop all this chand and get a grip on reality by fundamentally looking into the opinion poll conducted to date and also get a grip on the reality of the benefit of the treaty to the majority of irish people and the economy rather than minority believe in the referendum in questions in the light of that reasons, they should support the ''YES VOTE'' for a better ireland and a better community and housing and good kick in the next local elections.![]()
It wont be too long when you're right or wrong!
I was walking through rathmines the other day. Is it just me or is the text on the SF posters near impossible to read unless your a meter or two in front of them?
Its a very blurry yellow font? Is that for some clever reason which escapes me?
We have a vote in for the EU Parliament, the Irish government, who we elect, has a direct say on how the commission is run and what they do.Originally Posted by Cael
And if that isn't enough, you can write to the commission on-line and they will reply - exactly the same as with the Irish government. I've done this myself and my submission on freedom of movement law is being supported by the EUP petitions committee and is before the commission for consideration.
Perhaps it could be more democratic, but it is nonsense to claim we have "no say in running it". If the EU is undemocratic, then so is Ireland.

Surely the thread title should read: "Pointless fringe group calls for a NO vote"?
