I notice that all the Vote No to Lisbon posters were torn down in Wexford St. and Camden St. in Dublin overnight, while all the YES posters are still up. Has anyone else noticed this going on?

Or maybe they lacked the correct information as someone pointed out about the Coir posters or maybe they were at the wrong heights? I did notice on the report of the FF launch on Monday that the journalist was in front of the pole with posters on it and the FF Yes poster was well below the 2m minimum height.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

then the Dublin County Council is legally obliged to remove them as litter, and prosecute those who put them up.
Coir's posters in a host of places are at the wrong height. From examining them it appears that they breach (b) and probably (a). As a result they would have been taken down by the Council. Those that have not already been removed, if in breach of the law, will be removed, and Coir hit with a massive fine.
That's the law, however much Coir seem to think they are above it.

We caught a supporter of an opposition candidate tearing down our posters last year. Attitude was West Brit F***ers shouldn't be allowed put up posters. The candidate spoke about the imoprtant of democratic deficit...makes you wonder.
I have seen over twenty Yes posters below the minimum height today alone. Can I sharpen my shears?Originally Posted by NotDevsSon

I don't know if you can remove them yourselves (do they just qualify as litter?).Originally Posted by Helium Three

No. There are strict rules on postering and only local authorities are authorised to tamper with posters. If they believe a poster breaches the postering regulations they will remove them (as McDowell found to his cost in the election).Originally Posted by Pidge
