    FF meetings on Lisbon Treaty??

Fianna Fail have said that they will host 50 public meetings on the Lisbon Treaty. Where can I get a list of these? And how many have been held? Fine Gael and Libertas both have notices on their website about meetings. Why does the FF website not carry any details of their meetings?

Also Ive gotten leaflets through my door about FG and Libertas meetings and seen posters for Labour meetings, but nothing from FF. Whats the story with them?

There was one in Clare last night, and was advertised in the local media.

I think Dublin North East FF are having a meeting tonight as well
For a Liberal Fianna Fáil perspective, take a look at

Is it not extraordinary that FF are not advertising these meetings on either of their websites??

What? It’s a simply query. All I want to know is the dates and times of these 50 meetings, or at least the upcoming ones?

Why would you be surprised FF are noth aving real meetings - they haven't done a tap on the ground while the mugs in FG are out knocking on doors.

There is no one in FF who can claim any intellectual credibility to argue the case. Dick Roche will go on because it's his job but he has no passion for Europe and if he gets moved you'll never hear a word from him about Europe again. Same for the rest of the cabinet.

If you want to hear reasoned intelligent debate then the only option are FG or Labour party meetings. I don't think 'he' PD or the Greens are having any. There are no public meetings set up by IBEC or the Unions or any other groups like that.

Where are the EU Commission or European Movement meetings?

Ireland is pretty pathetic actually when it comes to policy debates.

You don't have anythign like the quality of debating opportunties there are in the UK or in other countries.

Are there even any policy think tanks in Ireland?

Me thinks that FF are actually hoping for a NO vote then they can blame the no vote for the horrific recession we are tipping into.

"Ah sure wasn't us, twas that merica credit crunching thing and them liberties and shinners who messed it all up" - FF Councillor canvassing in Summer 2009.
