    Would You Vote to Join the United Nations?

    Presumably all No campaigners have read the Charter of the UN
    http://www.un.org/aboutun/charter/
    in particular Articles 42/43.

    Looks like the UN World Army is just round the corner.....

    So, would you have voted to join the UN?
    (Did we have a referendum before joining?)
    Mr Gormley described calls for the resignation of his cabinet colleague as "absolute nonsense". He said Mr Lenihan was doing "a very good job under exceptionally difficult circumstances".

    Not only would I not vote to join, I would vote to leave. The UN is the most useless talking shop anywhere.
    The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.
