A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. Supply and demand are thrown out of gear - the overhead goes up; the effective use of human energy goes down; the standard of living is lowered because money cannot buy wealth that is not produced.

Hard to take it seriously when the spelling is so awful on the subtitles.

When they edit the spelling so injudiciously, it makes one wonder about their attitude to the information.

Actually, I've just listened to about an hour of it and I'll get around to the rest of it later probably and get back to you then. I've just heard Kathy Sinnot speak about aspartame and how the EU will sacrifice a few farmers along the outskirts of Europe to maintain energy safely at its core - or something.

So far, it's entirely one sided. At the moment I happen to be on that side but that video thusfar does not make me proud of my position.

I watched this video in it's entirety and while I agree that the quality of spelling, filmwork etc is not brilliant, I feel that the points made are very significant. It is the first time I've seen a very coherant argument against the treaty. I was so impressed that I emailed everyone in my address book to ask them to look at it and forward it. The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly against the treaty. Kate P, I strongly urge you to watch the video to the end as some of the most important points are at the latter end of the video
