One of the more odd things about Sinn Fein these days is the people it associates with.
Today in the European parliament Mary Lou's main support during a debate on the Lisbon Reform Treaty was UKIP, the anti-EU right wing party made up of ex-Tories. Their MPs were bedecked in union jacks during her speech. Afterwards they were the ones who supported her. (She was followed by the UKIP leader.) Another notable supporter in the European Parliament was ex-DUP man and now independent MEP Jim McAllister. Strange times indeed.
