No.
I'd like to find an objective summary before I make up my mind.

Yes. Too early to make a decision. There may be a sudden realisation that 26 countries with distinct foreign policy interests may find the idea of a Foreign minister unappealing.

According to comments made by Dermot Ahern, the differences between the previous draft constitution proposal already rejected by Dutch and French voters and the current treaty document "are cosmetic".Originally Posted by Pidge

Yes Yes Yes - I don't care what it says - I am 100% in support of a federal Europe - maybe then we'll stop kidding ourselves that our politicians and civil servants are 'accountable' - a bland office in Brussels deciding on issue affecting Kerry South with J Healy Rae not being able to be a cute hoor - now that's democracy!
The notion of a foreign minister is clearly bollocks. Rwanda has recently applied to join the Commonwealth. The idea that France could somehow overlook this when dealing with its own 'backyard' is plain & simple 'Eurine' - Thankyou Kevin Myers, for that great term.

Last time they printed up summaries and handed them out free from the Government Publications Office on Molesworth Street. You could pick up the whole Constitution as well, also for free. Hopefully they'll do it all again: I wonder what happened to all the Irish editions they printed up.Originally Posted by Pidge

That's why Europe, as a country is not a credible proposition. It's not real.Originally Posted by St Disibod

Don't forget, nothing is actually agreed yet. All they've done is agree to what will be on the agenda for discussion at the up and coming IGC.
This drives me barmy, how can somebody come out with a straight yes or no without frirst having carefully studied what they are voting for. Assuming it is broadly similar to the referendum that did not go ahead the last time I will be both voting for and canvassing for a yes vote, but I cannot say this until I have fully informed myself.Originally Posted by TradCat
