I think we should leave it open so we will have a dedicated space to post the multifarious benefits which Lisbon will afford us in the years to come. No doubt these won't be limited to just the influx of jobs and investment and resultant economic recovery which were promoted at length by the main Irish political parties.

Indeed, it seems the Italians already have the Lisbon treaty to thank for the nasty Crucifix being removed from their schools.

You clearly still don't get that the ECHR has nothing to do with the Lisbon Treaty and quoting an ignormaus that doesn't get that simple fact either adds nothing but ill-informed bollox to your argument. One more time for the NAY-sayer ... Ireland's obligations to the ECHR have nothing to do with the Lisbon Treaty or our membershup of the EU. Geddit, yet???
