Andreasen quits as UKIP’s treasurer alleging party financial irregularities

According to the London Times yesterday

The high-profile Brussels whistleblower who became the treasurer of UKIP has stormed out of her new post and blown the whistle again — over the anti-EU party’s financial decisions.
So much for the ethical standards of the No side's UKIP friends.

Interesting, isn't it, how the No side didn't start a thread on the allegations surrounding their new VBF, Farage's UKIP.

So much for the honesty and ethics of the No side.

Joe Higgins caught doctoring treaty articles on his website.

Cóir caught out lying about a Labour Court ruling when the court head rang in a radio station to say they were telling complete porkies and using the court's name to spin myths.

And now UKIP found not to be as financially clean as they claim.

    Oh dear.

Well Tommy does this mean it is safe to believe that Marta Andreasen means business?

It is safe to believe that rumours of the No side's self-proclaimed integrity was greatly exaggerated.

Farage under pressure to explain missing millions...

Well there were issues with UKIP long before she took the position with them.

Are we supposed to trust these guys on Lisbon?

And why is Ms Andresen resigning now when these issues were public months ago?

    From
News - Davey: Farage must explain UKIP?s missing millions

"When Nigel Farage first went to Brussels, he promised to publish his accounts annually ‘so the public can inspect them', but since then neither he nor his UKIP colleagues have done so.

In addition, two of the 12 UKIP MEPs elected in 2004 have since faced criminal charges for falsely claiming benefits, false accounting and money laundering. UKIP has also voted against a cap on MEPs' earnings, reforms to make travel expenses more transparent, and have backed laws aimed at keeping their expenses secret."

I'm not particularly concerned about the activities of a minority party in a different Sovereign State; I'm voting NO in an attempt to ensure that Ireland remains one.
