I know what you're all thinking, and no!...there won't be scantily clad baristas, nor will there be a bowl for keys at the door. Instead this outsider has decided that persons under the age of twelve or fourteen will not be admitted.

This sounds like a rather ageist agenda from this guy who says, "I have got kids". One wonders how exactly he "got" them, and how many he "got".

Seems irresponsible of the good people of Limerick to allow this individual to continue with his plan to discriminate against these under twelve or fourteen year olds.

I have heard this topic being discussed on the radio and TV a few times. Not a dig at the OP, but I don't see why there is a need for discussion.

I tend to criticise the idiot adults who cannot control their children.

Indeed. I see no issue with it, however, I don't blame screaming children, I blame their @sshole parents.

When I am relaxing having a coffee I don't care who is to blame, I would just prefer peace. I would definitely go to an adults only place if given the choice.

Totally, the parents fault though. Some deal with it very selfishly

I see it a lot among my extended family. Turn up, let the kids do literally whatever they like while they basically take a 'day off' then get annoyed when someone gives out to one of their little angels for spearing the gold fish with a fork or making a whole garden bouquet out of the flowers in the garden.

Not much more to it than this, I think.

Freedom of association for the business owner. Freedom of choice for the customer.
