My opinion is some what different.

1.Mc Ternan
2. Mc Gloin
3.Gilmartin
4.Dolan
5.Fallon

Will be interesting to see the out come.

Christel, how do you think it will go?

1st count will see McTeirnan elected and Gogan eliminated
2nd count will see Loughlin eliminated which will elect Mc Gloin
3rd count will be Bohan eliminated which will elect Gilmartin. Fallon and Dolan to be elected without reaching the quota.

The only other possibility is that Dolan doesn't poll well and is eliminated early which will push Fallon over the quota.

Who is the Martin lady running for SF? Is she the blonde lady with pink stripe who was Chairperson or something a few years ago??? What about Fine Gael? Will they elect 3?

I heard that Pat Munday was buying drinks for people in the Pubs in Manor who said they would vote for him..
They must be feeling the backlash of their party's stupidity..

I just looked up Maureen Martin there, I got this on the Sinn Fein website, Leitrim | Sinn Féin
Seemingly she recently won a leitrim person of the year award for her community work, I have spoke to a few sinn fein supporters here and they have mixed feelings, seemingly Maureen is getting a good reaction but there are those who think it was foolish to run two as maybe Martin Kenny might now be at risk as he has given her a big chunk of his area ie ballinamore, aughnasheelin and coraleehan which was always a strong sinn fein vote. On Fine Gael, John McCartin is putting in a big push this time, he may take Gordon Hughes seat but I cant see them getting 3 in, I havent heard how FF are doing but I'd say they should be safe enough with most of Shortts votes going back to O'Rourke and Ellis but Martin Kenny should get some of these as he lives very close to Shortt. I would think myself that things will remain the same in this area with the only difference maybe being McCartin taking Hughes seat, what does anyone else think?

What makes you sure Bohan will be eliminated?

Loughlin lives quite close to Dolan, so transfers from Loughlin might go to Dolan?
