Who is commissioning this poll? Where will it be published?

Imelda Henry polled poorly in the last opinion poll. However, to the best of my knowledge, Marion Harkin was also on that ballot paper. With Harkin now careered to Europe, I think Imelda Henry might do a lot better in any poll and challenge for a second seat for FG.

Apart from the fact that opinion polls area waste of space, if you really believe McGarry is going to outpoll MacManus in the election, then you deluded.

Apart from the fact that opinion polls area waste of space, if you really believe McGarry is going to outpoll MacManus in the election, then you deluded.

The selection of candidates in this constituency is appalling. Its amazing to think that a largely working class town like Sligo could return 2 FG TDs.

Theres not a hope of that happening. But unfortunately it will be 2 FF TD's.

The I suggest that you run yourself in a vain attempt to raise the standard. I say vain becase you clearly have not checked the facts. This is a largely rural constituency with Sligo town and its environs a/c for perhaps a third of the electors.

I think you'll find that you're deluded Gerry, McManus is an extremely poor candidate and very poor speaker. That poll looks about right to me, sadly.
The lack of a Green option in Sligo makes me want to scream.
Is it too late to transfer my vote to Dublin?

The poll is being conducted by Landsdown marketing and sligo weekender
I think a green canditate will be added
The green vote will cut into Ff and sf percentages

Mac has never recieved 50% of his vote from South Leitrim. Thats simply not true. Somebody is feeding you false figures.

Secondly, Labour did not secure nearly twice the vote of SF in the locals. Again, I dont where you are getting those figures from. Someone is feeding you false figures mate :wink:
