    Weekend went very well.

Olwyn got a very good response in the morning, local and national issues raised.

The education committee established four sub committtees to look at issues such as disability, refom of leaving cert, etc. Issues regarding Irish being compulsory after junior cert where left to Galway next weekend. A new vice-chair and secretary where elected.

The social affairs commitee meeting reached a decision regarding purchase and consumption of alcohol for youths. Very good meeting, a lot of people contributed. Well chaired ,did not drag on for hours.

LRC AGm was brief thank god as there was quite a lot in the day, with the positions of chair, secrtary, treasurer and Pro/ webmaster being filled.Pa gave a good contribution highlighting some important points.

Collins Rally was very interesting. Looked at different aspects to Collin's life.Very informative. Great speaches given by all speakers.

Good weekend overall. Well organised, crerdit to the organisers.
