I am not so sure fitzpatrick will run anyway, he is no spring chicken... watch out for charlie junior...
What age is Charlie junior does anyone know?

I understood that Fitzpatrick had made a commitment to be a one term TD. May have no choice!

If that's true, then we'll have the results of another convention to look forward too.

So we're not sure who'll be Durkan's running mate, but possibly Scully.

As for Stagg, Labour might not even run a 2nd candidate.

If Fitzpatrick won't run again, who will the 2nd FFer be?

    Excellent.

I hope O'Donnell will come through because he's got TD written all over him.

Well, the existing FF cllrs in Kildare North are:

    - Paul Kelly
    - Liam Doyle
    - Willie Callaghan

So IF Fitzpatrick isn't going to run for a second term, which one of the above will?

Ignoring the state of the country, FF are f*cked in Kildare North because Fitzpatrick and the 3 amigos above all have one foot in the grave.

Can't see FF having more than 1 seat in Kildare North for a good few years.

i think out of those 3 paul kelly would be the 1.however he lost his seat on leixlip town council earlier this year and that may pose a problem for him

he is on the County and that is the seat that matters. If charlie junior runs then he will take the seat off brady. FF will only get 1 in Kildare North. I really believe FG will run 2 in KS and will add spike to the ticket in 2011. They need a newbridge based candidate to put Power under pressure. Heydon will be the housewifes choice but O'Donnell will have the support of Dukes which will count for something. My money is on Heydon to shade it at convention.
