After last nights Edenderry Town Council meeting, it does not look like Noel Cribbin will be approached to rejoin the party.Would agree that John Foley is a cert to run for the Dail.
Will Liam Quinn and Declan Leddin be joing him on the ballot paper???
    As usual, Interesting Times Ahead!!!

Well Noel does have a habbit of shooting himself in the foot. He should see that if he wants to get further than the Town Council now, he realistically has to rejoin the party. The election proved that there aren't three Fianna Fail seats to be had in Edenderry Town as he thought, it should have been obvious to him that Foley and Bourke would always have first dibs and that he would be a shoe in for the ticket whenever Bourke stepped aside especially with Quinlan stepping down from the Town Council.

If Quinn runs as a sweeper for Enright and Flanagan it could scupper John's chance at a Dail seat pulling down his first preferences against Molloney, who lets be honest is the one he'll be trying to take the seat from. On the up side, with Plunkett in the Geashill/Ballinagar area his influence might just stem the sumami of votes to Cowen from North Offaly. North Portarlington and surrounding areas will go to Molloney again due to the lack of a Offaly party presence there.
