Wishful thinking micko. When it comes to SF you suffer from OCD.There is medication for this condition and might i suggest you consult your doctor.

Can't see the shinners putting one up here in the Borris-in-Ossory LEA. Reason being. They're normaly well marshalled when it comes to announcing candidates and from what my people tell me within Sinn Féin, you can take it to the bank (Northern, if you wish, mick), there's no Shinner coming out of here.

S.W. I'll take your word on it, sure Bertie would'nt even trust his (or whoevers it was) money with the bankers.

Swinging Door, I agree that the shinners like to launch all together but the organisation is growing in Laois.Sometimes certain annoucements just dont fit in with the rest.
You are normally spot on on this thread but trust me on this one!!! I think you'll be surprised!

Wasn't a precedent set with a surprise announcement in Limerick?

Yes, I remember a recent thread on here relating to a guy who had previously been elected in Limerick for Labour (I think). It was announced that he had joined SF and was running as a candidate in the locals for the party.

    Tracked this down.

    Councillor Rotimi Adebari

Has anyone heard if councillor Adebari has explained his connections with this man in the below link:

Man gets 12 years for sick rapes of teen babysitters - National News, Frontpage - Independent.ie

He was seen by many people canvassing with him in 2004 in Portlaoise. I witnessed them together on many occasions myself on that campaign.

Has Rotimi Adebari cut all his ties with this convicted sex offender?

He needs to clarify this publicly if the electorate in Portlaoise can have any faith in him and his canvess team.

Rotimi's luck seems to have taken a turn for the better.

Swanning around town in a spanking Merc.

Not bad for a poor refugee to our country.
