Just goes to show by the last posting by Effin Effer, that he hopes they will.
    Eh NO!!!

You and I have debated this to death!!!

I still strongly believe that a hard working local councillor will hold their seat in bad economic times regardless of the party their standing for. Be it Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Labour, Sinn Fein, Independent etc. etc. etc.

You believe that there won't be any Fianna Fail councillors left standing after the election due the the recent opinion polls. And your entitled to that opinion!

The only solution to see which one of us is right is to wait until June 5th!

What a pitiful posting she had earlier (see above) making herself out to be more than she is.
You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that Lottie is Grace Halford. Sorry, not the case. I am a disgruntled, and totally disillusioned citizen of this godforsaken Nation and native of Laois, Portarlington to be precise. They say we get the politicians we deserve. I don't know about you, but I think we deserve better. Our County Council representation over a protracted period has been an absolute joke. We, as voters, have the power to reform and revamp our County Councils. To do this we need to be presented with quality, forward thinking candidates. It is no longer acceptable to parade a succession of narcissistic cretins before the electorate. One candidate boasted of being on 11 committees. He actually considered this to be an asset ! Hello!

    Mountmellick

Seems as if Michael Gormley is going solo as Michael Moloney reported. Just goes to show if at first you fail sulk and do a solo run, how comendable. Maybe he should not have stood aside for Michael Moloney last time! Why have ff and fg not announced candidates for the t.c in mountmellick?

Well Lottie, if you're that "disillusioned" why not buy a one way ticket out of "this god forsaken Nation and native of Laois, Portarlington to be precise."

Swingingdoor, I take personal offence at your description of my earlier postings regarding Grace Halford, as pitiful. I, unlike you obviously, have gone to the trouble of researching every putative candidate. Grace Halford comes out head and shoulders above anyone else. If you do the research you will find the same. I will accept your apology if it is appropriately humble

Look Lottie If your that easily offended by something as simple as what swingingdoor said then you are not cut out for politics!
I admit she is not abad candidate but head and shoulders obove the rest is a matter of opinion.Im sure other people have 'research' that would contradict you on this one.

This is not the place to be canvassing, that is best done on the ground in the local area.

    Lottie AKA Grace

O There There now Grace if you are going to run (Thats if FG HQ select you????) you must be able for all that goes with being a public rep.
Remember you are not on the ticket if you dont make the cut will you run as an Indie.
The quota in EMO will be about 1100 votes do you think you can achieve that vote and not being a native of Port????????
These are the question the blueshirts will have to ask of you in order to get on there ticket.
And if you are so brilliant as Lottie has protrayed you do you think that FG would have selected you at the Convention???
Oh sorry Grace I meant Lottie.
