please tell, tell us what you have done for your fellow man??????
Modest forbids me from getting into that area. Or maybe I've done nothing for my fellow man other that just pulling my own weight, paying my way and a good amount in taxes and in general not being much of a burden on the rest of society.

I certainly have never claimed that I will clean up the administration of a whole county, replace all (but one, LOL) of its elective representatives and in general usher in the New Jerusalem ...

Now, Kimble, you seem to forget things rather quickly - like the fact that it is less than a week since you threatened - in a e-mail message that is well saved - to kill me, and your henchman Bob told us all about the hordes of brothers you have and the great danger that I am in if any of them comes across me. As if I wouldn't see them coming - I'm sure the bolts through the neck and the zips up the back are a dead give-away.

The Internet is an anonymous forum and most people respect that. It is your choice if you prefer to bask in the limelight of publicity, but I sure hope you stop urging people to reveal their identities - especially to someone who has gone to great pains (for a rank amateur at least) to hack into my e-mail account.

Now have a good day and enjoy yourself on Slime Time - or is it Prime Slime, I tend to get confused and am not very interested in the programme - which contains far too little sex and violence for my taste - and probably for yours as well. ROFL

Here's a different theme song for Kimble the next time he tries an empty bluff and climbs to the top of a tall building:

    Dailymotion - a-ha - Cry Wolf - a Music video

Thanks for post Lottie. It is a pity people were not aware of all your endeavours. I had no idea that Portarlington had an affilliated Branch for 2 YEARS as you have to be affilliated for that time to have voting powers. I will certainly be in touch with FG HQ .
I think an old resident of Port like your self should have stood for election, as you have a great love for your home town. You should not have wasted all your energy elsewhere on another unknown person. I hope you are out helping Molly Buckley in Tullamore., now theres a woman of substance with a wonderful track record.

You may have been unaware of our existence but unfortunately the people who hijacked our candidate were not. Why on earth do you think they would have gone to such extraordinary lengths if they did not fear her. They saw her as a threat. If they had nothing to fear why didn't they allow a proper democratic vote at convention? Our candidate, far from being unknown, was Constituency vice-chairman, and very well known indeed. The cynical corruption that was displayed during this whole sorry saga has left us apalled and thoroughly disillusioned. Our younger members in particular were disgusted and are now soured for life. Our secretary addressed the FG constituency AGM regarding these things. Her powerful speech left no-one there in any doubt about what was done to Port FG.
As for Buckley in Tullamore, why would I travel to support an Offaly candidate? She is related to our secretary and I don't know whether she is campaigning, doubt it though.

Hmm, it's all a while back, over four years now, and wasn't there an English fellow with a pipe that said a week is a long time in politics?

I think you are referring to the late Michael Turley - ar dheis De go raibh a hanam - I suppose the council acted within the rules in co-opting his brother John to take the seat left vacant by a popular person. At least, if memory serves, the vote was passed unanimously and not even your ultra-vigilant poster boy Michael Moloney objected.

Anyone can change party affiliation at any time for any of many reasons. Who knows, it is not inconceivable that Michael Moloney will one day see the error of his ways and seek to join Sinn Fein.

Sorry if this answer is too scanty to satisfy you. I'm rather busy trying to unravel a complex bit of fundamental and human rights legislation right now, so I'll defer to Uncle Bob's greater expertise.
